GUTSWEINE

Our wines for every day – the bread and butter wines of a VDP winery, so to speak. In each VDP.GUTSWEIN is the philosophy and the very own signature of the winemaker. The wines grow in the estate‘s own vineyards. VDP.GUTSWEIN are the business card of a VDP.Weingut. Ideal to get a first impression of the quality or to become a repeat offender.

ORTSWEINE

Our VDP.ORTSWEINE are a real insider tip: They come from high-quality, characterful and traditional vineyards within Lorch and give the typical local terroir emphasis and expression. Only regional grape varieties are used - which often even come from VDP.GROSSEN LAGEN® and VDP.ERSTEN LAGEN®.

ERSTE LAGE

The VDP.ERSTE LAGE® classification level is awarded to first-class vineyards with an independent character. The growing conditions for the vines must be optimal. This is expressed, for example, in the fact that wines of sustained high quality come from these sites over a long period of time. VDP.ERSTE LAGE® wines are planted with regionally defined grape varieties.

GROSSE LAGE

Grosse Lage, Graf von Kanitz, Weingut Kanitz

It doesn‘t get any better than this! The VDP.Adler.wines from these sites are Germany‘s absolute top. VDP.GROSSE LAGE® is the award for the highest quality German vineyards. This is where Germany‘s best wines mature - they impress with their independence and are expressive representatives of their site character. A special ripening potential rounds off the high quality of these wines. VDP.GROSSE LAGE® wines are planted with grape varieties that are closely defined regionally and are suited to the respective vineyard. The sites are delineated with parcel precision. We refer to dry wines from these vineyards as VDP.GROSSES GEWÄCHS®.
